Brief summary of the game

Simulation showdown is a 3D-game, centred around a boss fight. The player has to fight inside a simulation, against the owner of this simulation. The boss can use the power of the simulation against you, by removing parts of it, flipping your camera, etc. Overcome the craziness and come out victorious!

My contributions and findings

Demo

Even though this project will be finished with a group of 4, this prototype was made by myself in 1 week.

Using the knowledge that I had of the input system, I was able to set up a fluid movement system with a zero-point dash. As shown in the demo, the boss is located in front of the player, and removes platforms periodically. The green and blue walls are modifiers, that make the game more difficult for the player if hit.

Making this prototype learned me to work with UI-elements such as the Image, to set up the health bars for the player and boss. It also gave me just a bit more confidence in working with Unity.
